PROFILE OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

Competences of qualification:

  1. Ensure the personal hygiene of a patient.
  2. Assist a patient with feeding.
  3. Maintain the cleanliness of the patient’s entire body.
  4. Introduce a patient to the temporary living environment in the personal health care institution.
  5. Take care of dying patients and their relatives.
  6. Assist a nursing professional in preparing and performing rehabilitation procedures for a patient.
  7. Provide technical assistance during procedures and patient care.
  8. Take simple samples for analysis, package and transport them to the laboratory.
  9. Take care of a vomiting, probed, drained patient, monitor a catheter and diuresis, monitor defecation and urination.
  10. Produce and use disinfectant solutions.
  11. Monitor infusions, prepare, and maintain nursing equipment required for nursing operations.
  12. Manage the dead.

Competences of optional modules:

  1. Assist a nursing professional in strengthening the patient’s health in long-term care.
  2. Help to take care of a woman during pregnancy, labouring and the postpartum period.
PROFILE OF MODULES

  1. Meeting the hygienic needs of a patient.
  2. Taking care of patients and their relatives.
  3. Handling of patient excretions and secretions.
  4. Performance of technical work.
  5. Introduction to the labour market.

Optional modules:

  1. Assistance to a nursing professional in strengthening the patient’s health in long-term care.
  2. Assistance in caring for a woman during pregnancy, labouring and the postpartum period.
