At the seminar in Finland – search for international partners

Karalius Mindaugas Vocational Training Center annually expands the circle of international partners. This year, the Education Exchange and Support Foundation submitted a proposal to participate in the international cooperation seminar Project Incubator – the Future of VET. No: TBV-FI1-2019-LT-0001. Two persons were selected from Lithuania to attend the seminar in Finland. We are glad that one of them is Mr. Tautvydas Vigelas, the project manager of Karalius Mindaugas VTC. 70 vocational training professionals met at the seminar in Helsinki on 11-13 November to actively discuss and develop cooperation plans.

“The seminar was dedicated to cooperation between vocational training and other organizations interested in finding partners in ongoing projects, becoming partners in new projects or sharing good practices in project writing,” says Tautvydas presenting the purpose of the seminar, where he had the opportunity to meet vocational training professionals from different European countries.
The plenary part of the seminar focused on the discussion of challenges of vocational training faced by vocational training centres. According to Tautvydas, it was really interesting to discuss the issues with specialists from other countries, to discover the similarities and differences of vocational training systems and to analyse problems. In the practical part of the seminar, the participants voluntarily presented their project ideas, invited the participants of the seminar to join and develop a future project with new partners following the project idea. These projects were evaluated by a jury at the end of the seminar.
