|Project description||The aim of the project is to implement work-based learning students’ practices seeking to ensure broader employment possibilities along with teachers’ and staff internships aiming to improve quality of education, share good practice examples and innovations in the field of vocational education and training.
The aim of the project responds to Karalius Mindaugas vocational training centre 2018 – 2023. international strategy and its action plan. The objectives of this project are:
• Expand the international partnership with countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Spain, which are strong in the implementation of work-based learning. This will enable the project participants to adopt good practice in order to improve the teaching process in Karalius Mindaugas vocational training centre
• Enable more people to participate in mobility activities abroad: in 2019, 49 people participated in Erasmus + mobility actions. Expected number of people participating in mobility activities in 2020 is 78. This will lead to more effective transfer and implementation of good practice, better preparation of students for the labour market and better employability.
• Quality implementation in longer-term student mobility activities to apply more effectively elements of ECVET system implementing achievements assessment, validation and recognition.
• Gain information about VET innovations and improve staff qualification. Gained information about innovations from abroad and the improvement of staff qualifications will positively influence the quality of the training process, with a particular focus on quality assurance of practical training and work placements.
This year’s project mobility activities involve 63 students for 15 staff members.
