Project aim and expected results The project was initiated to offer solutions to the problems presented at the European Anti-Bullying Network conferences in 2014, 2015 and 2017.: increased levels of bullying and cyberbullying. Therefore, the objectives of this project are:
– to increase the ability to respond to the phenomenon of bullying in the school environment;
– to develop methodologies and training courses to enhance teachers’ competences by offering a specific set of laboratories as an effective tool in the fight against bullying;
– to give teachers and students (13-16 years old) the opportunity to try out a new methodology that will allow them to get acquainted with bullying and ways to overcome it;
– to involve key members of the school community (parents, associations, institutions) in the interdepartmental network in order to actively combat negative behaviour;
– to develop and implement social media campaigns to combat bullying.
Expected results:
– after acquiring special competencies, teachers will be ready to manage bullying situations at school;
– students will become more aware of the management of bullying situations and will be able to make significant changes inside and outside the school by reducing and combating bullying;
– parents and local communities will be more involved and insightful in responding to bullying situations;
– educational institutions will be able to offer their own anti-bullying training programs
