Project description Daily dose of music aims to increase the use of musical interventions in the caring professions by: training a new generation of vocational health and social care students; ensuring that vocational care professionals by integrating music into the curriculum of vocational health and social care students; ensuring that vocational health and social care teachers are able to teach these methods to their students, ensuring a sustainable transfer of knowledge; preparing the care sector for students who have been trained in the use of music in care and showing them how best to support and harness their work once they enter the job market.
The project will develop three main results:
1. Module on the use of music in care of VET care students, which will be available to VET schools across Europe;
2. Teacher training for care teachers at vocational level, giving them confidence and knowledge to inspire their students to use music in their future careers;
3. A toolkit to introduce care organisations to applications of music in care, allowing for increased uptake and paving the way for the new generation of care workers.
