Practical Training Facilities
Students learning at the Karalius Mindaugas Vocational Training Centre improve their practical skills in specialsed practical training facilities. Using the most current equipment, learners acquire practical skills and professional qualifications in compliance with the level of the European Union. In many facilities, students provide services to external costumers and work under real work process conditions. Professional mastery is transferred to them by the professionals of the field, vocational trainers. Not only formal and informal training is conducted in modern practical training facilities, but also various seminars, trainings, events and excursions are held here. The sectoral centre offers practical training for students, teachers and employees of various vocational training institutions operating in Lithuania. We believe that modern practical training equipment, the most innovative tools and the team of professionals are all that is needed for successful learning and development.
Beauty Service Centre | Griunvaldo St.
It is an exceptional sectoral training centre for hairdressing, beauty and related services not only in Lithuania, but also in the Baltic States. Its infrastructure meets the highest requirements of the modern service business. Karalius Mindaugas VTC students undergo practical training under the supervision of trainers all year round. Hairdressing, cosmetic, massage, manicure and pedicure, SPA and clothing repair services are provided here. In-service training seminars and practical training for students, teachers and employees of various vocational training institutions are organized as well.
Beauty Service Centre | Miško St.
It is a practical training facility where services are provided to clients by future hairdressers and beauticians studying at the Karalius Mindaugas VTC under the supervision of trainers. Seminars and presentations of the latest products are conducted here as well. For external clients, this is a great opportunity not only to receive beauty services at attractive prices, but also to get a closer look at vocational training.
Floristry Studio | Griunvaldo St.
A modern practical training facility, where students of the florist training programme improve their skills. By talking and completing floristic orders, they learn to work in real working environment gaining useful professional experience. In the studio flower arrangements and bouquets are created, gifts are wrapped, consultations are provided and orders for decorating various events are accepted.
Dog Grooming Salon | Miško St.
It is a practical training facility, where dog grooming and hygiene services are provided by future animal care specialist. Under the supervision of trainers, students bathe dogs, bruch and trim fur following the breed standards. The dog grooming salon actively cooperates with animal shelters and carries out socially responsible activities. Every loving owner can bring a pet his/her to beautify it. Booking is required.

Laundry and Cleaning Service Centre | Miško St.
Future textile supervisors develop their skills in the practical training facility equipped with the most modern machinery. They get acquainted with the latest clothing care techniques, learn to wash and dry clean outerwear, bed linen, leather goods, etc. The non-aggressive SolvonK4 cleaning system is used. The modern training facility allows not only to prepare new specialists, but also to retrain or provide knowledge and skills to employees who are already working in this field. Laundry and cleaning services are provided for everyone who wants to quickly and efficiently clean various clothes and other textile products.
Kindergarten | Miško St.
This practical training facility provides pre-school and pre-primary education in accordance with the education regulations of the Republic of Lithuania. The kindergarten is attended by the children of Karalius Mindaugas VTC students and employees, the service is provided by qualified specialists. The pre-school teacher assistants and nannies trained at the Centre improve their practical skills here. An innovative educational environment allows to conduct the teaching process in a modern and attractive form, to organise the holistic development of the a child’s personality.
Practical Training Facility | Vytautas Ave.
Future nurse and social worker assistants improve their skills in this practical training facility. Here they acquire the knowledge and learn how to use the nursing equipment and tools in practice. Using mannequins, wheelchairs and other aids, they learn to perform different nursing and patient care procedures: to move, transport, change body position as well as feed and perform personal hygiene safely. In the practical training facility, future footwear makers are trained to design, sew and pull up uppers, on molds, attach shoe soles and repair footwear.
Horse Stable | Pajiesys Rd.
Practical classes for students of the equine employee training programme are conducted in a modern horse farm located on Pajiesys Road, Kaunas District. In accordance with the established standards, the stables are equipped with spacious and bright horse stalls, a horse washroom and a solarium. Students learn to train horses in an indoor arena or outdoor riding arena. Theoretical lectures are held in the classroom on the first floor, where a view opens into the closed riding arena below.
Practical Training Facility | Pervalka
This is the practical training facility of Karalius Mindaugas Vocational Training Centre located in Pervalka. Formal and non-formal education, as well as various workshops and seminars, entrepreneurship, employment and volunteering projects, camps are organised there. The building has a dormitory, which can accommodate students and teachers. Learners are given opportunities to study in a genuine environment of their future work, to undergo practical training in the companies providing leisure and hospitality services in Neringa.
